Floral Designer

We are looking for a Floral Designers with 2 years of design experience. Designer will be able to consult on floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, and most special occasions. Rice Epicurean Designers must have proven knowledge of fresh flowers and variety. Designers are also responsible for maintaining walk in coolers with fresh arrangements and cut flowers. Floral Designers will actively engage and educate customers on fresh flowers, potted plants and other items in the department. The designer will also lead by example by creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers. The designers will coordinate phone orders and wire service orders with other housekeeping duties. Must also have excellent merchandising skills on the sales floor to attract sales.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and leadership skills and familiar with controlling inventory. Must be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast paced environment at all times.
