Here's a little bit about the author of this blog in her own words:

"Hi! My name is Kristie and I am the owner/designer of Pretty Poppy Floral Designs, currently located in Issaquah, Washington. Pretty Poppy provides exquisite flowers for weddings, special events, and holidays.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Floral Design from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I also have a minor in English. I first started designing in High School when I took a floral class 'for fun.' Floral design quickly became a passion. The more I learn, the more I enjoy doing what I do. I believe that learning never stops; I am constantly watching the trends and industry for ways to learn and improve.
