SALES/EVENT PLANNER

The Special Floral Firm in Washington DC is seeking a motivated and energetic full-time Corporate/Wedding/Social Event Planner. This individual will work on multiple established client accounts, as well soliciting new accounts and must have demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. This oposition includes direct involvement in social and corporate projects, market research, event sales, hospitality operations, strategic planning and strong administrative support.

Other duties include: Strong knowledge of flowers and plants, strong written and verbal correspondence(proposals), website updating, strong team management, event planning and coordinating with hotel, embassies and vendors, creating venues for social, corporate and weddings, event set-up, meeting,tracking and keep records of events and taking phones calls.

Our firm is looking for an outgoing , team player, self starter who can learn the firm's procedures/style then manage and work independently and also keeping management informed. This is a full-time position. The schedule is Mon-Fri 9:00-5:30, unless there are events/meetings the week-ends are optional.
